How long is my prepaid access valid for?

Each Prepaid Internet access code is valid for the period specified on the kit or prepaid voucher, until the specified hours are used or the expiry date is reached, whichever comes first. The expiry date is calculated when the Access Code is activated. When your access code expires, any unused hours are forfeited, and may not be redeemed or transferred.


How do I know how many hours I have used?

You can see how many hours you have used through your Account Toolbox.


What do I do when my Prepaid hours are running low or I am approaching my expiry date?

We recommend that you top up your account when your hours begin to run low or a couple of days before your expiry date.

To do this simply purchase an Primus Prepaid Internet Kit or Top Up voucher from a local retail outlet, then activate it through your Account Toolbox.

You do not need to create a new account. You can top up your account through your Account Toolbox or by using the Top Up option on your CD-Rom.


When happens when my Prepaid access runs out?

We will place your account on hold for 3 months. This gives you time to purchase a new Prepaid Internet Access Kit or a Top Up voucher from a retail outlet.

Once you have purchased a new kit or voucher, you can top up your Prepaid account.


How do I top up my Prepaid account?

You will need to purchase a new Prepaid Internet Access Kit or a Top Up Voucher from a retail outlet. You do not need to create a new account.

If your account is still active, you can use your Account Toolbox to top up. The Account Toolbox is located on the Primus home page. If your account has expired, you use the Top Up feature on your Primus Prepaid CD-Rom. Just follow the prompts on your computer screen. Alternatively you can all technical support on 1300 85 11 85.

Primus customers will automatically receive a Top Up Bonus when they top up their account.


Can I top up my account when I still have time left on my old card?

Yes. You can activate the access code before your current card has expired. We recommend that you purchase a new Access Kit or Top Up voucher before your current access expires. The expiry date on the new access code will be calculated when you first use the access code.


Do I need to create a new account when I top up my account?

No. Purchase a new Access Kit or Top Up voucher from a retail outlet then activate your new access code through the Account Toolbox or by using the Top Up feature on your Primus CD Rom.


Can I use all my Prepaid hours in one session?

No. Primus limits your Internet sessions to 5 hours. You will be disconnected from Primus when the time limit is reached. Primus has a session limit so that you don't use all your hours by accident. You may reconnect to Primus as soon as you wish.

Where can I purchase a new Prepaid kit?

Retail outlets Australia wide stock the Primus Prepaid access kits and Top Up vouchers. Please consult our list of retailers.

Primus Prepaid Internet is not available directly from Primus.


Can I get a refund for unused Prepaid access?

No. Prepaid Internet cannot be refunded, transferred or redeemed.


I have lost my access code, what do I do?

If you lose your access code after activating it, then you need not do anything. Your code cannot be used by anyone else.

If you lose your access code before activating it, then you will need to purchase a new Internet Access Kit or Top Up Voucher. Unfortunately, Primus cannot credit your account without an access code.


Can I have more than one email address?

Yes. All prepaid accounts allow you to have 5 email addresses. You can create new email addresses by using your Account Toolbox.


Can I change my Prepaid account to a standard dial-up account?

Yes. You will need to contact our sales department on 1300 85 11 85.


Is there a limit to the amount I can download?

No. There are no download limits or charges on this product.


Can Prepaid customers publish a personal Web page?

Yes. All Primus Prepaid customers are given a personal Web page. You can publish your Web pages through your Account Toolbox.


How do I configure my computer to connect to Primus?

Please consult the Technical Support area of our Website.


Can I activate iSpeed on this service?

No. Primus Prepaid accounts are not compatible with the iSpeed service.


Can I activate iProtect on this service?

No. Primus Prepaid accounts are not compatible with the iProtect service.
