PRIMUS TELECOM WINS TOP BROADBAND AND CEO PRIZES AT AUSTRALIAN TELECOM AWARDS
Melbourne, Australia, October 26, 2005 - Primus Telecom has been selected as the winner of two prestigious prizes at the national telecommunications industry awards in Sydney last night.
Primus Telecom was announced winner in the Best Broadband/Corporate Wholesale category, and Primus Telecom Managing Director, Greg Wilson, was announced as Chief Executive Officer of the Year.
The Australian Telecom Awards are the telecommunications industry’s most established and recognised peer-reviewed awards.
Mr Wilson said the award in the Best Broadband category was recognition of Primus’s initiatives in the broadband market including new levels of pricing, innovative online content and product partnerships, as well as a national broadband network expansion.
“It is very gratifying that our industry peers have recognised that many of the initiatives we have taken have set the pace and helped to transform broadband into a widely accessible, affordable and innovative tool.
