NEW CONSUMER GENERAL MANAGER FOR PRIMUS TELECOM
Melbourne, Australia – January 17, 2005 – The Managing Director of Primus Telecom, Greg Wilson, today announced the appointment of Bryan Yianakis to the position of General Manager, Consumer.
Brian Yianakis has managed contact centres in Australia and New Zealand for organisations including AAPT, National Australia Bank, Bank of New Zealand and Telecom New Zealand.
“Bryan’s background and experience will be a great asset as we implement initiatives to improve the customer experience across our entire operations,” Mr Wilson said.
“It is vital that we interact with our customers in the most efficient and timely manner and acquaint them with the best solution to their total communications needs. I would like to welcome Bryan to the Primus team. He brings considerable experience in a wide range of contact centre environments”.
Bryan’s previous role was at AAPT where he was Director of Consumer Contact Centres and latterly headed up the Self Service Channels and Performance Laboratory. The laboratory was at the forefront in the use of natural language IVR (Interactive Voice Response).
Under Bryan’s direction, these telecommunications contact centres were judged the best in Australia by Teleperformance International.
